Virtual Art Exhibits: Aviva Feigenheimer Weldon

This virtual exhibit space has been created to keep our past and future exhibitors visible to our patrons. We do hope that you enjoy this guide and we look forward to having live displays once we are able to fully open our doors to the public.

Aviva Feigenheimer Weldon

Aviva Feigenheimer majored in Fine Arts at Queens College and studied at the Art Students ‘ League for many years. She focused primarily on oil painting under the instruction Andrew Lukach. When the Vytlacil School of Plein Air painting was established in Sparkill NY she continued studying there under Lukach’s mentor ship.
More recently, Ms Feigenheimer has been exploring acrylic painting at the Putney School’s Summer adult art program and watercolor painting with Paulette Cochet. She has found doing pet portraits extremely satisfying and enjoyable, attempting to capture the spirit of each animal.
After residing in Bergen County for many years Ms Feigenheimer retired from her school social work career and presently lives in Rockland County. Her work is represented in collections both here and abroad, as well as in the Permanent Collection of the Art Students’s League.
