Alexander's Review:
The Two Towers is the second book in the Lord of the Rings series, a direct sequel to The Fellowship of the Ring, and is written by J.R.R. Tolkien. The Two Towers follows the story directly after the first book, so Frodo and Sam are now on their way to Mordor alone, while Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn journey to save Merry and Pippin from the orcs. Due to it no longer being the beginning of the series, Tolkien can now properly introduce you to the main antagonists of the series, such as Sauron and Saruman. The book does a great job of telling the story from both P.O.V.s, giving both equal times and not prioritizing one over the other. The only issue that I have with this book, is that it sometimes can give the reader many small details, which can overwhelm you and slow down the book, depending on your reading style. But overall, this is a really good book, with a great story and great characters, and I would definitely recommend reading it.
