CAPS Record Procedure Update | May 2023
Section 6.4 of the ILS Manual has been updated to add a new step to the CAPS Record Creation Process. For easy reference, the new step will be pasted below while it is still new:
If necessary, change the appropriate indicator in the Rec_Type field in the Bibliographic Tab. The default is “a,” which is correct for language materials, such as books. However, if you are creating a CAPS records for a DVD, CD, BOCD, or other non-printed language material, use the appropriate letters from the chart below. The most common are listed:

Appendices
Note that Appendices 2, 12, 13, 15, and 17 have been deprecated. The original naming scheme has been retained to align with older printed versions of this manual.
