Information about the Town of Warwick's celebration of the nation's 250th Anniversary

 

The notes from the first meeting on Nov. 12, 2024 are linked below.  Meetings in 2025 will be held quarterly at the Town of Warwick Senior Center, King's Highway, at 6:30 PM.  All Town of Warwick residents are welcome to attend.

2025 Committee Meetings:  Feb. 4; May 6; Aug 5; Nov 18

Upcoming 2025 Commemorative Events: 

  • April 19  4PM 250th of Lexington & Concord, Ceremony for Col. John Cowdrey, Warwick Cemetery
  • May 18  2-7 PM Founders' Day @ John Hathorn Home/Old Stone House Inn (on the lawn); living history activities followed at 6 by a return visit from the Baroness von Riedesel as she recalls the march of the captured army of Burgoyne through our area.
  • July 22nd  6:30 PM Annual reading of Hathorn's Battle of Minisink report, Warwick Cemetery
