Note: Contact Joanna Goldfarb about custom shirts. Please gather the following information:
- Name
- Size
- Color Preference
- Second choice, color preference (should first choice be out of stock)
- Name for back of shirt (optional)
- Home Library
- Contact information (email and/or phone number)
Shirts will be made at RCLS and sent to the patron's home library. We will notify the library when the shirt is on the way, and include patron contact information..
What does the shirt look like?
A note on sustainability
These prizes have been selected with sustainability in mind. The majority were purchased from a local vendor to both keep our local economy strong, and to cut down on carbon emissions produced when shipping items. Additionally, the committee selected prizes based on usefulness, in addition to being fun. We wanted to give prizes that would be used over and over again, rather than immediately end up in a landfill.
T-Shirt FAQ
Q: What colors are available?
A: We are only limited by Michaels stock! When someone finishes the Road Trip, we pick up a shirt for them and make it on the RCLS Cricut. Here is a link to the Michaels website with the shirts we have been using: Click here
Q: What sizes are available?
A: Youth S-L, Adult S-2XL
Q: Does the person have to put a name on the back?
A: No- it is optional
Q: How will patrons get their shirt?
A: When the shirt is done, RCLS will send it to the patron's home library. We will also notify home library staff that a shirt is on the way and include patron contact information.
Q: What information do I need to collect from patrons who finish the Road Trip?
A: If you are the last stop, gather the following information:
- Name
- Home library
- Phone Number
- Shirt Size
- Shirt color preference, and second color choice (in case first choice is out of stock)
- Name on back (optional)
