Staff Guide: 2025 RCLS Road Trip Program: Keeping Statistics

Documents

How To

If a patron(s) receives their Road Trip travel log and first stamp at your library, enter one tally-mark under the “New Road Trip” section. If multiple people, such as a family, all join using one travel log, add a tally-mark for each person in the group.

For patrons who already have a travel log and come into the library to receive a stamp, put a tally-mark under “Continuing Road Trip participants.” If multiple people, such as a family, are all using one travel log, add a tally-mark for each person in the group.

Submit Here

Use Beanstack to submit your library's statistics on a weekly basis. We recommend having a designated person or account for submitting statistics. For branch libraries, you may select one person per branch and submit separate statistics for each branch. This will make it easier for RCLS to compile statistics, and for you to track when library statistics have been submitted.

Every week your library submits Road Trip statistics into Beanstack, you will earn virtual raffle tickets. At the end of the summer, three libraries will win a basket of Road Trip snacks for staff to enjoy!

Preregistration for the Beanstack challenge will open June 16. A code to join the challenge will be included with the Road Trip materials that will be sent to libraries mid-June. We recommend selecting who at the library will be responsible for submitting statistics before materials arrive.
