2021 CSLP "Tails and Tales" Themed Programs Available!

READsquared provides pre-packaged themed programs for our community members. The 2021 "Tails and Tales" CSLP-themed programs are now available for CSLP member libraries.
   

1. Review the new CSLP-themed "Tails and Tales"  banners, badges, game boards, certificates, and more for your Summer 2021 Reading Program here: trymedemo.readsquared.com.

2. Wrap-up 2020 programs by collecting all data and reports if you haven't already. Then go to Participants > Program Wrap Up to clear them from these programs. Instructions here:  https://portal.readsquared.com/r2kb/Article.aspx?id=10106 

3. Update your site with the new theme. You can either reuse your existing CSLP-themed programs using the Theme Update feature to update selected or all graphics on an existing program. Instructions here: https://portal.readsquared.com/r2kb/Article.aspx?id=10185
or use the Import Programs feature to import brand new CSLP-themed programs into your READsquared web site.  Instructions here: https://portal.readsquared.com/r2kb/Article.aspx?id=10149

READSquared Webinars

Upcoming Training

As part of your READsquared subscription, your library's administrators and staff can attend free live trainings to learn more about running a successful reading program. In these one-hour sessions, we provide a step-by-step walkthrough of a READsquared site, including the administrator control room, and offer detailed explanations of all the features available for your patrons. All trainings and onboardings include a question and answer period.  

Which one should I choose?
 
Onboardings cover all the basics of getting acquainted with your READsquared Site. These sessions are designed for new READsquared customers or new library staff using READsquared for the first time. 

Spring Trainings are refresher trainings for those who have used READsquared and want to prepare for upcoming summer programs and possibly add more to their site. These sessions will cover the new theme, program testing, marketing, and advanced features.

The New York State Library is pleased to offer READsquared at NO COST to public libraries statewide!

READsquared is an online reading program solution. This powerful application offers customization and configuration of CSLP-themed summer reading programs and other reading and learning programs, as well as readers’ advisory tools for all ages and all reading levels.

READsquared can help libraries of any size brand their reading programs and increase registration and participation of individuals, families, and groups through activities, book lists, challenges, and more. The product offers a variety of features to meet each library’s unique needs.

Once you submit the form, your library’s customized READsquared site will be configured within 48-72 hours. When your site is ready, you will receive an email from support@r2stg.zohosupport.com with administrative access information.

Then log in to your READsquared site! If you are new to the product, please visit the help menu in the column to the right. There you can view training materials and submit questions.

Demo site available!

A demo READsquared site is also available, if you would like to explore the application’s control panel before signing up. Please click here and enter NYAdminTest1 for both the username and password.

The State Library’s contract with READsquared runs from spring 2018 through December 31, 2022.  Through this contract, the  READsquared product is available only to public libraries and library systems. Schools and school libraries should contact the vendor, Systems Technology Inc. at  support@r2stg.zohosupport.com if they wish to inquire about READsquared or pricing.

Summer Reading at New York Libraries is funded through the Federal Library Services and Technology Act, with funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
