Do you have leftover take and make kits that you just can't get rid of because the craft was too amazing? How about those random peacock feathers in the back of the cabinet that you don't think you'll use, but they're too cool to throw out? Now there is a solution: give them to another library!
Whether you have 3 extra take and make kits or 30 extras, help another library save time and money by sharing your leftover kits. You might not have a plan for those random supplies in the dusty corner of the craft bin, but it could be just the right thing someone was looking for to finish a display or project. Bonus: it'll keep all of these materials out of a landfill!
Use the Padlet boards in the "Take and Make" and "Craft Supplies" tabs to show what you're giving away, and share a few helpful details.
If you are interested in an item, use the information on the post to contact the library directly. Once an item is claimed, delete your post.
DO NOT SEND LARGE ITEMS THROUGH DELIVERY. If the item you are giving away is larger than a book bin, arrangements must be made for pick up/ drop off.
