Attention WiiU Borrowers- Only 1 game will fit on the hard drive at a time. You will need to reset the WiiU to factory settings and install whatever game you want to play. It could take a half hour so plan to do it prior to your event. Thanks!

If you have any questions about borrowing the Playstation 4 or Wii U kit, contact ryan@rcls.org
Also - Please pack up the kit exactly as you get it. It is going in the delivery so please use all the bubble wrap!
The kits are expensive, when borrowing you are responsible for the equipment getting back to RCLS safely.
PLEASE USE THE SAME DELIVERY BOX WITH THE CAUTION TAPE WRAPPED AROUND IT

Q: How long can I keep a kit?
A: Generally, you have 10 days to get the kit in the delivery, mess around with it, plan a program and have that program.

Q: When I look at the calendar, how long do I have to wait in between reservations?
A: At least 5 days, a week is better (to make sure it gets back to RCLS in the delivery and then out to you)

Q: The system requires an update, what should I do?
A: We try to make sure that the hardware system updates are up to date but if one is missed, you may have to plug it into your network (or use your wifi) to update the system.

Q: Help! I don't know anything about the system!
A: Sorry, but borrowing the kit implies that you can plug everything in (all documentation is included), and try the games out for a few days in order to plan your program. Use the gameslib mailing list for discussion.

Q: What will I need to supply at my library?
A: You will need alternate cables for the WiiU if you do not have an HDMI port on a projector or HDTV. You can use your Wii cables. View this video to make the changes using the Settings menu on the tablet controller if you are using the Wii cables.
The PS4 requires an HDMI port on a projector or HDTV.

Q: There is only one controller cable for the PS4 system?
A: There is only 1 cable actually - it came with the system. You have to plug both in (one at a time) to charge them and then use them wirelessly.

Wii U
The Current WiiU KIT contains the following games, 3 controllers, an extra Wii Controller, system and tablet.

- Four USB 2.0 connector slots are included. The new console is backward compatible with Wii games and Wii accessories.
- IBM Power-based multi-core microprocessor.
- Up to four Wii Remote (or Wii Remote Plus) controllers can be connected at once. The new console supports all Wii controllers and input devices, including the Nunchuk™ controller, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro and Wii Balance Board.
- Approximately 1.8 inches tall, 6.8 inches wide and 10.5 inches long.
