A biography is a history of a person's life.
In our databases you can find articles describing the lives of tons of important people from ancient history to today. These databases also include articles from newspapers, magazines, and books.
Use these articles as as the backbone of your research on a person, or in addition to whatever other articles or books you have.

Gale Biography in ContextThis database has biographies for more than 525,000 people. It covers today's famous athletes, musicians, actors, actresses, and historical figures back to ancient times.
You can search for the person you want info on, or you can browse a list of people by career or nationality.
Encyclopedia Britannica OnlineEncyclopedia Britannica Online offers brief biographies for over 23,000 people including modern politicians, world leaders, and historical figures.
