LEGOtm Challenge for kids in grades K-5

Each month we will post a new LEGOtm Challenge for you to build at home! Send pictures of your finished builds to us by the end of the month and we will post them here!

This Month’s Challenge: What I Think About in March

 

Using your imagination, choose one of the following challenges to build with your LEGO™ pieces or come up with your own unique March idea:

1.  St. Patrick’s Day (Think leprechaun, something green, four-leaf clover, or a pot of gold.)

2.  First Day of Spring (Think something yellow, a rabbit, baseball, or a tree.)

3.  March Comes in Like a Lion and Goes Out Like a Lamb (Think a lion, a lamb, an umbrella, a swing set, or a rainbow.)

We hope you have fun! Please send a photo of your creation to vclkids@rcls.org by March 31st in order to receive a prize for participating and to have your creation placed on our website.

February's Challenge!

Using your imagination, choose one of the following challenges to build with your LEGO™ pieces or come up with your own unique February idea:

1.Valentine’s Day (Think flowers, balloons, hearts, candy, or anything red.)

2.Winter Olympics (The Winter Olympics are being held this February. Think Olympic rings, skates, skis, bobsleds, or anything else.)

3.Chinese New Year (The year 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. Think tiger, ox, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, or so on.)

January's Challenge: What I Think About in January

Using your imagination, choose one of the following challenges to build with your LEGO™ pieces or come up with your own unique January idea:

1. A Winter Day (Think snowman, mittens, winter hat, icicle, hot chocolate, or snow fort.)

2. A Winter Sport (Think hockey, basketball, sledding, skiing, or shoveling.)

3. Winter Animals (Think snowshoe hare, arctic fox, cardinal, or snowy owl.)
