Orange County
Orange County was founded in 1683 and was named in honor of William III of Orange, who was greatly esteemed by the English settlers of the region.
Rockland County
Rockland County is a suburban county in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The name derives from "rocky land", as the area was described by early Dutch and English settlers.
Sullivan County
Sullivan County is in the southern part of New York, southeast of Binghamton and southwest of Albany. It is separated from Pennsylvania by the Delaware River.
Ulster County
Ulster County lies in the state's Mid-Hudson Region of the Hudson Valley and Kingston is the county seat.
