Summer 2024: Teen Summer Reading Program

Each year, we offer a fun, no-pressure program to keep teens reading and prevent “summer slide.”  This year’s theme is Adventure Begins at Your Library!  The program runs Monday, June 16 to Friday, August 17, and is open to all teens entering grades 6-12.  Pick up a reading log at the library to get started.

We'll also have special programs celebrating travel and adventure all summer, so check out our calendar.  Good luck on your reading journey!

Required reading counts, too!  Download the required reading list for TZHS Honors and AP English students below.  SOMS students must read at least two books--their choice, any length.
