The Newburgh Free Library’s Job & Continuing Education Information resources at the library and on the web are available to help with your information needs. Hunting for a job or finding a new career is easier when you have the right tools. Through our on-hand materials, useful websites and online databases you’ll be able to jump-start your job hunt and explore careers. The library offers continuing education classes on computer skills and how to use our electronic resources for job searching and writing your resume. Check the Library Calendar for a full schedule. Books and materials about creating resumes and cover letters can be found in the library's non-fiction collection under Dewey Decimal number 650.14, as well as in our specialized Job Information Center Collection. The collection also includes binders of  Civil Service job postings from New York StateOrange CountyDutchess County, the City of Newburgh and other local municipalities, as well as miscellaneous job postings as received from employers.
