Teen Reader Advisory: Welcome!

Welcome to Monroe Free Library's Teen Reader Advisory!

I'm Gia, Monroe Free Library's Teen Services Coordinator. You've probably seen me at the Children's Department desk, and maybe you've asked me for a book recommendation in the past or come to one of my programs. Whether you know me or you don't, hello and I hope you find something here that piques your interest!

If you want to see what's currently on display in the teen room at MFL, you can click over to the What's On Display page. To see what new releases we have to offer, check out The New Shelf. If you're looking for books with a specific theme, check out our collections page or browse through the carousel below!

If you want recommendations from fellow teens, check the Book Reviews page where you can find community-submitted reviews, or submit your own review. If you want some recommendations of books I personally love, check out the Gia's Picks page, where you'll find YA novels I enjoyed with a short blurb about why I liked them.

If you don't see anything you like here but still want to find your next book, send me an email at gia@monroefreelibrary.org, call the library at (845) 783–4411 and ask for me or come on over to MFL and we can chat in person. Let me know what kind of book you're looking for and other books (or comics, TV shows, movies, video games, podcasts, etc.) that you enjoy and I'll do my best to give you some personalized book recommendations!

Happy reading!
