Adult Summer reading 2018

This year's Summer Reading theme is "Libraries Rock!." Explore books and library programs about everything under the sun -- curious about spelunking, Hungarian cuisine, bee keeping, ukulele lessons, screenwriting, or global finance? The library has all you need to expand your mind. Displays and bookmarks will provide recommendations throughout the month of July. And don't forget to add the reason you think "Libraries Rock!" to our appreciation bulletin board located next to the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor.

Our summer newsletter contains descriptions for all the wonderful programs offered during July. Here's a sampling:

Rockland Summer Sings--Monday, July 16th 7:30-9:30

The Rockland County Choral Society invites you to come and sing or just listen to beautiful classical music rehearsed and performed all at one sitting. No experience necessary. Fee: $15/general, $10/seniors & students. Includes rental scores and light refreshments.

Square Dance Anyone?--Sunday, July 22, 1:00-3:00 pm

And now for something completely different! "Do si do" with your partner and Pat Cannon's Foot and Fiddle Dance Company who will get you off your seats for some square dancing, line dancing, and more. Funded by the Friends of the Nyack Library.

For more information and to register for these and any adult programs, please contact the Adult Reference Department on the fourth floor, at 845-358-3370, ext. 214 or email info@nyacklibrary.org.
