Although the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) accounts for just 0.003% of the federal budget, its impact on libraries and museums nationwide is profound.

Thanks to IMLS support, libraries help residents pursue education, access technology and media, find jobs, build professional skills, and connect with their communities in safe, welcoming spaces. Without this funding, RCLS libraries risk losing the ability to meet community needs and foster opportunity. Supporting IMLS means supporting local libraries—and the people you represent.
