Jen Park, Community Engagement & Talent Development Specialist at RCLS and Amanda Primiano, Executive Director of Monroe Free Library, led an interactive customer service workshop. Colleagues discussed and analyzed real-world challenges that occur in library settings.
Participants attending this workshop left with the following:
- Identified negative customer service occurrences
- Analyzed how and why the negative experience occurred
- Reframed the occurrence to determine if a different outcome was possible
- Recognized the limitations of each customer service interaction
