Customer Service Workshop: Home


This workshop took place December 9, 2021. This LibGuide hosts the information exchanged and the ideas shared with one another.

Jen Park, Community Engagement & Talent Development Specialist at RCLS and Amanda Primiano, Executive Director of Monroe Free Library, led an interactive customer service workshop. Colleagues discussed and analyzed real-world challenges that occur in library settings.

Participants attending this workshop left with the following:
  • Identified negative customer service occurrences
  • Analyzed how and why the negative experience occurred
  • Reframed the occurrence to determine if a different outcome was possible
  • Recognized the limitations of each customer service interaction
