The Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional items that complement the Newburgh Free Library’s mission to provide diverse opportunities for learning and engagement.
Our goal is to give you a variety of things to borrow that you may not have at home, or may only need once and don't want to purchase.
Any ideas for future items can be sent to email@example.com
The equipment in our Library of Things collection are for use by patrons 18 years of age or older with a valid library card in good standing from the Newburgh Library. Patrons may borrow up to two pieces of equipment at a time. The lending period is 3 weeks with a late fee of $2 per day (up to $20 and then you will be billed the cost of the item). All items must be picked up from the library as well as cleaned and returned to the library during open hours. Items can be borrowed by calling the Library at (845) 563-3600.
Review the Library of Things Collection and Borrowing Policy (below) for more details. This form will need to be signed by the patron at the time of checkout.
Backpacks are exempted, and can be placed on hold and checked out by any library member in RCLS.
