Hello!
Welcome to our "Stay Home Storytime" from the Valley Cottage Library. Though there may be times when we are unable to meet together for storytimes, we feel that it is important to enable our community to have access to storytime resources from home. The benefits young children gain from seeing picture books read aloud, singing songs, and doing fingerplays are an important part of early learning growth.
On the following pages, you will find storytimes organized by theme, just like we do here in-person at the library. Each storytime opens with our storytime song, and closes with our goodbye song.
The storytime includes links to books read aloud as well as links to fun activities, fingerplays, songs, and more.
We hope you enjoy these carefully selected activities, and continue to encourage your child's early learning adventures!
