RCLS Road Trip
Are you looking for a local adventure with your kids or friends or family this summer? Take the RCLS Road Trip!
The RCLS Road Trip is a program designed to encourage the public to visit as many of the 46 RCLS libraries as they can over the course of the summer months. Participants will be given a map of the RCLS area (Rockland, Orange, Sullivan and southern Ulster counties) with library addresses which will also be used to keep track of the libraries they visited. Prizes will be awarded at the 1st library you visit, the 5th, 15th, 25th, 35th and 46th! (See below. Note - below the poster says "47th" library but the New City Library is in the process of reopening after their remodel so they are not participating.)
This is an all-ages program, and we hope many new and existing library users enjoy exploring our wonderful libraries!
HOW DOES THE ROADTRIP WORK?
- Begin your journey with a map of all 46 RCLS libraries (pick it up at the first library you visit).
- Start at any library, anytime, & explore as many libraries as possible!
- Get a sticker on your map for each library visited & win free prizes. Remember to discover the attractions & activities of each community.

GENERAL INFORMATION
As you make your way through RCLS libraries, remember to pick up your prizes along the way! The only thing you need to do is tell library staff when you have accumulated enough visits to receive a prize.
