Book Giveaway Event
Stop by the Nanuet Public Library Lobby for a copy of our selected title. You must register for at least one Nanuet Reads Event to claim your free book. For each Event you attend, you earn one entry to win a raffle prize.

What is Nanuet Reads?
Nanuet Reads is a “One Book, One Community” Program presented by Nanuet Public Library designed to spark conversation and build community.
HOW IT WORKS: Free copies of the selected title are distributed to the public.
Three editions of the title are available, including Young Readers and Picture Book.
Adult, Teen, and Children’s Events related to the book are offered. (See "Events Guide" linked below.)
A patron must register for at least one Nanuet Reads Event to claim a free book.
For each Nanuet Reads Event you attend, you earn one entry into our raffle.
One raffle prize will be awarded for each age group: Adults, Teens, Children 8 and over, Children 7 and under.

More Ways to Find the Book
If you miss the Sept. 26 event, any remaining free copies of the book will be available at the Adult and Children's Reference Desks. If you didn't get one, or prefer a different format, you can always borrow from the Library. Copies are available to borrow, including the e-book and digital audiobook versions in our digital platform, Libby. Link to Libby for desktop here or the Libby app here. If you can't attend our screening of the documentary film, William and the Windmill, it is available to Nanuet cardholders through a streaming service called Kanopy.
