100 Books Before Graduation: Home

What is 100 Books Before Graduation?

100 Books Before Graduation is a teen reading initiative that challenges 7th-12th graders to read 100 books before they graduate high school. This is based off the West Babylon Public Library's program, which modeled their initiative on the children's program 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.

How Does it Work?

You’ll register and record your books online using the information under the "Forms" tab. We’ll keep track of your books and alert you when you’ve earned a 10-book milestone prize! Participants may only record books they’ve started after they’ve registered for the program, and logged books must reflect teen’s grade level (or higher). Each book may only be recorded once. When you read 100 books you'll get a special prize....and bragging rights!

Who Can Participate?

Nanuet cardholders in grades 7-12 can participate in 100 Books Before Graduation. 7th graders may join the summer before entering 7th grade.
