How to apply for a public library card

LOGIN/LIBRARY CARD NUMBER: the number on the back of your card under the bars.

PIN: the last 4 digits of your home phone number. 

HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD To get your free library card go to your home library, present a photo id and two paper documents with your address, including zip codes printed on it and fill out a card application. A parent will also need to sign your application, if you are under 18.

If you are a Tappan resident you can print out this online application, fill it in and bring it to the Tappan Library along with your picture id and two paper document with your address listed on it.

** If you are a Sparkill resident, you can apply for a library card at Palisades, Piermont, Tappan, Orangeburg or Blauvelt Library.

LOST, DAMAGED, REPLACEMENT CARDS All outstanding fines/fees must be paid before a new card is issued. Please go to your home library to apply for a replacement card. Fines may be paid at any library.
