PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED, DRAWING AT FOUNDERS’ DAY MAY 17, 2026

Use this map and the information on the REVOLUTIONARY WARwick website to visit some of the historical sites and answer the questions. Complete the ANSWER FORM linked on the website to enter your discoveries and be included in the drawing for great prizes at Founders’ Day 2026, May 17. VISIT THE SITES AND ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

  1. Where is the date “1766” recorded on the Baird Tavern building?
  2. Where is the “patriot walkway” at the Gen. Hathorn historical site (Old Stone House Inn)?
  3. What is the name of a Revolutionary War veteran buried at Warwick Cemetery?  What direction does the gravestone face? E/W/S/N?
  4. At Sterling Forest State Park Visitor Center, is there any information given in the displays about who guarded the forge during the Revolution?
  5. Visit the memorial bust of William Henry Seward on Main St. Florida. What famous Revolutionary War figure did William Henry Seward visit in France—is this mentioned at the memorial?
  6. Take a selfie at one of the Revolutionary War historical sites on the map and email it (with or without your name, as you prefer) to be posted on our social media, to hathornhouse@gmail.com.
