Art Techniques
- Watercolor Painting Based on a book artist and musician Gregory Conley began writing in 1996 called "Watercolor: Tools of the Trade,” this website concentrates on factual information about watercolor materials, tools, technique, and history. It includes an art glossary, tutorials, product reviews, art links, and recommended reading. The site “doesn't teach you how to paint…[but] if you tend to forget which paints come in which size tubes, or wonder why Thalo Blue and Winsor Blue or Blockx Blue all look so much alike, or even what is the best way to arrange a studio area or put together an outdoor painting setup, you should find this Watercolor Reference Guide a useful addition to your own reference”
- Color Our Collections Launched by The New York Academy of Medicine Library in 2016, #ColorOurCollections is an annual coloring festival on social media during which libraries, museums, archives and other cultural institutions around the world share free coloring content featuring images from their collections. The annual #ColorOurCollections week generally occurs on the first full week of February, when new coloring books are released on this website and shared throughout the week by the participating institutions on social media. The coloring books from 2020 and previous years remain accessible year-round for free download.

The MOCA site is host to hundreds of world-class digital artists and thousands of their images, all available for viewing here. It is one of the most heavily-trafficked, comprehensive, frequently-updated and respected computer art museums on the Web."
- Museum of Online Museums Here you will find links to online collections and exhibits covering a vast array of interests and obsessions. Start with a review of classic art and architecture, and graduate to the study of mundane (and sometimes bizarre) objects elevated to art by their numbers, juxtaposition, or passion of the collector. The MoOM is organized into three sections: "The Museum Campus" contains links to brick-and-mortar museums. Most of these sites will have multiple exhibits from their collections (or, in the case of the Smithsonian, displays of items not on display in the museum itself). "The Permanent Collection" displays links to exhibits ranging from Essential Vermeer to the Museum of Fred. "Galleries, Exhibitions, and Shows" is an eclectic and ever-changing list of links to collections and galleries, most of them hosted on personal web pages.
