Local Classes
- Meals on Wheels Adult Learning Center -- Computers The Adult Learning Center of Rockland is an organization administered by volunteers whose goal is to bring computing skills to adults and, for those adults who may be somewhat "intimidated" about using a computer we will eliminate those fears. Using a computer can be "FUN"! The courses are designed for students who prefer a slower-paced approach to learning. To this end, each class has a maximum of eight students and is taught by an instructor who is assisted by two coaches who aid the student as he/she learns. Each student has the use of an individual PC while in the class. Most classes are scheduled for four consecutive weeks for two hours each week and are given in the morning and afternoons to fit the student's needs. (Also sessions on Using a Cellphone and Using a Digital Camera.)
