Creating Presentations

Open a Blank Presentation
1. Open the New Presentation window by navigating to the File Button and left-clicking to expand the File Button’s menu
2. Left-click once on the option for New 
3. The New Presentation window will open
4. To Select a Blank Presentation, left click on the icon labeled “Blank Presentation” and click the Create button on the right hand side of your screen below Blank Presentation.
5. A new, unstyled presentation will open (by default called Presentation1)

Templates

Create a Presentation from a Template
1. Open the New Presentation window by navigating to the File Button and left-clicking to expand the File Button’s menu
2. Left-click once on the option for New 
3. The New Presentation window will open
4. On the left side of the New Presentation window appears a list of links to different types of templates under the heading “Office.com Templates”
5. Click on the category that best describes the type of presentation you would like to create. For example, to create a Name and Place Card, click on “Cards” as illustrated below:


7. Left click once on the folder that interests you (Holiday Cards or Name and Place Cards). Then select the template of interest by left- clicking on the Download button on the right-hand side of the New Presentation window.
