Definition: “Publisher is a desktop publishing program you can use to design and produce a variety of publications: business cards; greeting cards; complex brochures. Publisher installs with a large selection of predesigned publications that you can use as templates to build your own desktop publishing project.”

1. Working with Templates
    a)   Publisher offers thousands of templates from which to choose. "Wizards” walk novice users through the steps needed to create professional-looking desktop publications.

2. Working with Objects
   a)    Publisher works with “objects.” Objects include: text; graphics (ie, clip arts or images from files); tables; charts; Smart Art).
   b)    The way we organize these separate objects on the page tailors our publication.
