Starting February 10, 2022, patrons will be able to call to make an appointment (no walk-ins) to scan their documents at one of the above sites. 

Patrons will NOT be able to remain at the site during tax preparation, you will be contacted when you can return to finalize your paperwork.

New York State Deptartment of Taxation offers assistance to electronically prepare and file your 2021 federal and state income tax returns at no cost - for tax filers with a 2021 gross income below $73,000.

What you need to file:

• a laptop, desktop or tablet, plus a smart phone or webcam to verify identity
• basic computer skills
• an active e-mail account
• all 2021 tax documents
• a copy of your 2020 tax return (if you filed)

Note: Have a copy of last year’s return so you have all the information you need to easily e-file!
