The Newburgh Free Library’s Job & Continuing Education Information resources at the library and on the web are available to help with your information needs. Hunting for a job or finding a new career is easier when you have the right tools. Through our on-hand materials, useful websites and online databases you’ll be able to jump-start your job hunt and explore careers. The library offers continuing education classes on computer skills and how to use our electronic resources for job searching and writing your resume. Check the Library Calendar for a full schedule. Books and materials about creating resumes and cover letters can be found in the library's non-fiction collection under Dewey Decimal number 650.14, as well as in our specialized Job Information Center Collection.

The Orange County Employment and Training Administration is part of the County’s Workforce Development System. They provide resources and services to individuals seeking employment and to businesses looking to build their workforce.

SUNY Orange- Workforce Development Office

SUNY Orange conducts training programs that provide individuals with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace. Courses are offered for people beginning new careers or those who may be entering the workforce for the first time. In addition, courses are available that will enable people to upgrade their skills for their current job or to continue with their education.

The Office of Career & Internship Services assists students, alumni and community members with all phases of the career development process.
