- Siegal, MarkMark Siegel was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and grew up in France. He is the editorial director of First Second and an accomplished writer and illustrator. The New York Times Best-Selling Sailor Twain is his most recent graphic novel.

- Blossfeldt, MarikaMarika Blossfeldt is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (NYC), certified as holistic health coach by The Teachers College of Columbia University and accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Marika’s artistic and culinary skills have been reviewed in the US by the New York Times, Martha Stuart Living, The Village Voice, Chronogram, The Valley Table and Bamboo Magazine as well as overseas in the European edition of Cosmopolitan and several home, health, lifestyle and cooking magazines.
- Busch, AkikoAkiko Busch writes about design, culture, and nature for a variety of publications. The Incidental Steward, her essays about citizen science and stewardship, will be published by Yale University Press in 2013. She is also the author of Geography of Home: Writings on Where We Live, The Uncommon Life of Common Objects: Essays on Design and the Everyday, Patience: Taking Time in an Age of Acceleration, and Nine Ways to Cross a River.
- Wapner, JessicaShe is a freelance writer focused mainly on healthcare and medicine. Herfirst book, “The Philadelphia Chromosome: A Mutant Gene and the Quest to Cure Cancer at the Genetic Level,” came out in 2013.
